A Special #TeachersDay Post

This post is dedicated to all the teachers in my life:

Sister – dream big and be determined

Dad – taught me the importance of a good pair of jeans

Mom – ask more from life

Friends – it’s okay to lean on people when the going gets tough

Books – always there for me when reality becomes dark and scary or boring and uninspiring

Writing – I have the power, talent and knowledge to write one true sentence after the next. Once that fountain starts, it pours

Commerce sir – empty mind is a devil’s workshop

Math sir – a new meaning of lightning: he told us to smile because God was taking our picture (gotta love his sense of humour)

Chemistry ma’am – a little coloured chalk goes a long way in demystifying the processes of different metal extractions

Roommate – sometimes, reading has to take a backseat when it’s a Sunday evening and she is bored

Cousin – the importance of saying thank you when someone compliments you

Exercise – don’t ask for a simple workout. Simple doesn’t necessarily mean less painful

Life – everything is going to be alright. If not, go to sleep. If you can’t, have some chocolate. Bad comes to worse? Watch TV or do something till life comes back around.

Clients – Hello, it’s me…I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet…to go over everything…Hello from the other side…I must have called a thousand times…

Digital – we will get back to you by EOD

Starting September, I will be trying to commit more to my blog by following an editorial calendar. This is a part of Blogchatterโ€™s challenge โ€“ #MyFriendAlexa โ€“ to better your blogโ€™s Alexa Rank by the end of the month by #BetterBlogging.
